ACP − adductor canal proper: this area extends between the point where the femoral artery changed its course from anterior to medial (M) and exited the canal at the adductor hiatus. Adductor hiatus: this point was marked as the point where the adductor magnus inserts into the femur and just disappears in the axial section. E: the entry point of the needle is 8 cm above the joint line along the antero-medial border of the femur
